Working with Copperdollar, over 12,000 people pass through our doors every season! Lots of fun Kinect VJ’ing and watching and learning from people interacting with my installations.
I met the amazing Kt Simpson in 2008 and was invited to join her on her vision for an immersive theatre performance group, Copperdollar.
We started performing in Glastonbury in 2009, with a walkabout in Trash City as we performed and sold tequila out of a coffin with wheels!
Evolving and perfecting over the years, Copperdollar now has an established role at Glastonbury, with our own late night venue in the creative southeast corner in the Common.
Over the years, I have had various roles working at Glastonbury; I use it as a great opportunity to try out new ideas in audience interactivity and digital technologies; I use it as an excuse to step out of my comfort zone to do some performance! and I often get to try out exciting new jobs, like helping to rig and décor a large venue; operating industrial lighting mixing desks, or venue management.
It’s also the best fun to be had with friends that have become a family.
