I’ve done a fair amount of work with different motion tracking technologies.
Using 2D cameras; the 3D Kinect; Polhemus magnetic field mocap wear; TensorFlow AI framework.

3D Kinect and cameras as human interfaces

As well as using the Microsoft Kinect in it’s various iterations, with Unity3D and with my own C++ software, also using 2D cameras and computer vision technologies such as OpenCV and TensorFlow AI.

Glastonbury Interactives

I used the Kinect at Glastonbury and used it to create paint like renditions of the people on the dancefloor which were projected into a big ornate framed performance screen.

Motion capture and time synched animation

I used a Kinect to capture the motion to one of our Glastonbury Copperdollar Back of Beyond dances, and made this animation so that when our resident Dj Marc Stylus dropped this tune, our performers would have this animation playing along with their dance and we would get the whole dance floor copying the moves!
